It is inspiring to see what Evan Duthie has been able to achieve at such a young age in such a short space of time. The 22 year old DJ & Producer has been making waves in the industry picking up support from the likes of Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Hannah Wants, MK and BBC Radio 1 to name a few. 

Born in Aberdeen, Evan had an ear for music from a young age with his first show at just 14. Since then, Evan has played some of the biggest festivals and venues in Europe including Ibiza Rocks, Oval Space, o2 Academy Glasgow, Belladrum, SWG3 and many more. As well as supporting the likes of Annie Mac and MK on tour, Evan started his own night ‘Eclectic’ supporting local talent while also bringing heavyweights like Melé to his hometown.

The world faced an unprecedented crisis in 2020. Despite the music industry taking a huge hit, Evan spent lockdown in his studio creating music, which lead to his track ‘You Got Lucky’ sparking enormous support from numerous BBC radio 1 shows including 2 plays by the one & only Pete Tong as well as Annie Mac. He released his debut single on Glasgow Underground which reached #22 in the Beatport Top 100 chart. His follow up single ‘For You’ was made Jaguar’s ‘Dance Floor Moment’ when she covered Danny Howard’s Radio 1 show! In 2021, Evan released a 3 track EP on Hannah Want’s Etiquette label and a 2 track EP on W&O Street Tracks picking up support from the likes of Danny Howard, ANTS, Gorgon City and MK.

Famous for an ability to play to a crowd and use his production skills to his advantage, his DJ sets never disappoint and alongside his humble attitude and dedication to the project, the future is surely bright for this exciting young DJ and producer.
